But Yumi Katsuragi is undeniably cute. Over 20 years ago, there were used bookstores that sold shady VHS tapes in their adult sections. Maybe because I lived in the countryside, there were many privately owned shops, and they almost always had those tapes on display. A tape that was supposed to be 60 minutes long would somehow be 45 minutes, and where the hologram sticker should have been, there would just be a gold or silver square—those tapes sold for about 2,000 yen each. In today's era where you can buy a brand-new, authentic DVD for 2,000–3,000 yen, that sounds crazy, but back when new VHS tapes cost 10,000–20,000 yen, it was cheap. Among those, I found Yumi Katsuragi's 'I Want to Be Lost' and 'Dress-up Doll.' I didn't have enough money for both, so I chose 'I Want to Be Lost' because I was drawn to the sailor uniform. I went home, played it, and was completely captivated by how cute she was. I went back to the shop with money to buy 'Dress-up Doll,' but it was already sold. Years later, I finally got to see this work. Yumi Katsuragi is still cute. That alone makes it worth watching. The maid outfit on the cover never appears. What you get are a school uniform, a nurse outfit, a pizza delivery uniform (?), and a wedding dress. That's fine, though. I remember that while old AVs rarely had different actresses on the cover, it was common for the costumes shown on the packaging not to appear in the actual film. 'I Want to Be Lost' doesn't feature the sailor uniform on its cover either. I should have written that in the review for that title. If you're planning to watch, be warned. But don't worry, Yumi Katsuragi is cute regardless.
