A heartbroken man drinks his sorrows away at a bar, only to be comforted by a beautiful bartender. As the bar closes, she offers him more than just drinks, leading to a private, intimate encounter.
Tsubaki-jo's appeal is cut in half! This work really shows that this kind of approach just doesn't work if you want to highlight her strengths.
They use a luxurious amount of timeโ5 minutesโjust for text scrolling to explain the setting. Kato Tsubaki's appearance, glasses, and eyebrow makeup really clash with the cat ears and maid outfit; it just doesn't suit her. With that look, a female teacher or doctor role would have been more appropriate. The later chapter with the sadistic female detective interrogating someone fits her well. However, having seen Kato Tsubaki in 2020, watching this work now actually makes her seem cute, which was a nice surprise.
I was searching for Tsubaki-chan after a long time and found this, but... the maid outfit and cat ears are a mismatch. Her charm point is her droopy eyes, so maybe the production team thought it would work based on that. For example, I'd love to see a 'My Personal Secretary/Manager' series. Actually, maybe not 'personal,' but 'exclusive'?
I like her, but this costume really doesn't suit her. She usually gives off a mature, older-sister vibe, but in this outfit, she suddenly looks like an auntie (lol). I think she's better suited for professional looks like a female teacher or secretary in a tight mini-skirt. I just really hope she never does a high school girl concept (lol).
The actress has great skin and her acting is solid, which is a plus. There were plenty of interesting scenarios, and I really liked the POV camera angles.
