I’d give it about 1.5 stars. The actresses are pretty and definitely above average. However, it’s hard to get immersed in the specific world-building of this series. It feels more like you should just enjoy it as cosplay rather than a realistic hostess club setting. The fifth actress was restricted to just the sofa with no bed, which felt like a waste. Overall, it’s a one-time watch for me. The hostess concept is good, though.
The second installment of the 'pillow sales' series also benefits from the setup in the beginning. Even if you're fast-forwarding, it's a necessary part. Everyone being no-bra is a nice touch, too. Here are my thoughts on each: Marika: The 'cranky customer' setup is annoying. The actress lacks charisma, so it was just okay. Saki Kozakura: The best performance in this one. I was hooked by how she slowly undressed like a little devil. She looks like a 'yankee' beauty who uses makeup to look cute, really pulling off the hostess vibe. But her 'ahegao' face was a bit much... Mana Aoki: The one who had plastic surgery. I actually like her, so her acting was standard but not bad. Karen Natsuhara: A cute girl with big breasts. She seems inexperienced as a hostess. It felt like a waste because the camerawork for the male actor was poor. Kotone Amamiya: Great face and body, but maybe a bit lacking as a solo lead... so this kind of ensemble piece suits her perfectly. Overall, it gets boring after penetration. Maybe it's because they're in a hotel, but I want to see more aggressive positions.
