MDYD-703 - Otto no shinyu ni okasare...

The rape scene in the first half is as stimulating as ever. But what really struck me was Yumi Kazama's acting, portraying the maddening way a woman's heart gets stolen by her husband's friend. The standing position scene was top-tier.

The work itself is a typical affair with a friend. The good thing about this piece is how well Yumi-san's shyness and 'holding back' expressions are captured. Yumi-san is really great when she looks flustered or troubled. The reason I love Yumi Kazama is her elegance and shyness, and this work captures that well!!

The premise of Yumi Kazama being a 3-year newlywed feels like a stretch. You could argue she married late, but given that her husband's best friend is still single, that doesn't seem to be the case. The husband is portrayed as having premature ejaculation and being weak in bed, so there's hardly any sense of taboo in her affair with his friend. That aside, Kazama-san has put on some weight. I think she'd be better suited for mature roles like a mother. The beginning and end both involve her sleeping with someone while her husband is passed out drunk, which felt repetitive—I wish they'd mixed it up. The middle section, where she goes to the friend's house and makes him talk to her husband on the phone, was actually quite tense and well-done. I just wish they'd come up with something more creative for the finale than just getting the husband drunk again.

There wasn't a single redeeming quality. Even though Yumi has had a lot of duds lately, this one is rare. The footage is dark, and the premise is cliché. The sex scenes are on the level of a suspense movie's bedroom scene—zero fetish appeal and not erotic in the slightest. Yumi's hairstyle this time—straight, short, with bangs—doesn't suit her at all. The actor playing the husband's friend has been around for a while, but his technique is simple and boring. I bought a DVD toaster, but I think I'll just snap this disc and throw it in the trash.

The cinematography is clean and well-shot. While it's a bit more understated compared to her recent works, I feel Yumi-san's acting skills are getting better and better. Even if you can't help the bit of body fat, it's barely noticeable in this particular film. Her voluminous figure has a charm that suits her age. I'd say this is quite good for a Tameike production.
