It felt like something new, different from VR or anime... but the video's movements were a bit awkward and disappointing. It lacked immersion, you know?
It would have been better with a bit more of a toon shading feel. The realistic 3D animation feels awkward, and it's hard to call it an anime. If it had leaned a little more towards anime, it would have been right up my alley.
The quality was okay, better than I expected, but it wasn't much different from other doujinshi works. They cleverly covered up the misalignments with mosaic, but the hand that's supposed to be touching something floats in the air with the animation... it feels like the tech isn't quite there yet.
I've been interested since the VR version came out, and I bought it right away when I heard you could watch it without goggles. The modeling and movements were better than I expected (though still lacking compared to the latest PS5 games). I think anyone who likes this kind of thing will enjoy it. I'm giving it 5 stars, hoping for a sequel!
