MEYD-514 - Wife Swap: 4 Days of Trading Wives with My Best Friend

It was nice to have two veterans like Shinoda-san and Kurokawa-san, but for me, it was just too dark and I couldn't get into it.

A luxurious collaboration between Sumire Kurokawa and Yu Shinoda. As mentioned in other reviews, the dark scenes are extremely hard to see.

The premise is childhood friends plotting to swap wives. First, by showing the protagonist having sex with the friend's wife—who is enthusiastic about the swap—his own wife, who was initially reluctant, starts to get excited... So far, so good! It's great!! The problem is what happens after: the scene with the friend's wife ends, and they go take a bath... when they come out and open the door, he witnesses his friend and his own wife having sex on camera. I mean, that's also great, right? But wait a minute! I wanted to see the moment they get caught!! Why not insert the witnessing scene in the middle? The shameful moment of being caught by your husband mid-act is the best part! The worst part is that the scene ends immediately, and it cuts to all four of them eating breakfast naked... Whose idea was that? There's no atmosphere or nuance at all. Personally, it was a scenario I love, but the creator's intent and my excitement points were completely out of sync, which was very disappointing.

I have a fantasy about being with a childhood friend, but it's probably impossible in reality... Watching this, I let my imagination run wild about being with my own childhood friend. Both Yu and Sumire are cute and act well, which made it feel very immersive.

The process leading up to the act is depicted realistically, which I liked. Often, you can't tell if a movie wants to be about swapping or just an orgy, but this one passes the test in that regard. However, as others have mentioned, it was a bit dark. I don't think it needed to be this dark.
