This is the 4th 8-hour compilation of Takara's long-running 'Mother-in-law, you're much better than my wife' series. With over 100 entries including compilations, it's hard to avoid a sense of repetition and hit-or-miss casting. This release is SD-edited, and some of the lead actresses are a bit lackluster. Personally, I think the Terashima, Mizuki, Kuroyanagi, and Sakaki segments are good. It feels like a one-hour digest of eight different performers' works. They cut out the mother-in-law's masturbation scenes and the mysterious middle-aged men (actors other than the son-in-law who appear in some works), and edited it down by keeping one foreplay scene and two main sex scenes (one external, one internal). I personally feel the situation is an important element in these types of works, and the story is easy enough to follow. However, there are three male actors; the ones up to the fourth scene are fine, but the last two don't really feel like sons-in-law, so the 'forbidden relationship' vibe is a bit weak. As for the actresses, it's a matter of taste, but I was satisfied with 6 out of 8. Shiho Terashima and Kazumi Yanagida are quite erotic. It's a true 'best of' collection with all the right highlights. Recommended for fans of the series and those looking to try it out.
