The first installment with Shoko Akiyama was a massive, massive masterpiece for me—a solid 500 million points in terms of utility! I only just discovered there was a version with my favorite actress, Sora Shiina, so I bought it. Wait, what? Sora's acting is perfect and the filming style is identical to Shoko's, but... something just doesn't click, you know? There's no chemistry, so I don't think I'll be watching this on repeat like I did with the Shoko version. What I liked the least was how easily she just let me (the younger brother) insert it... hmm... that's not how it should be. It just felt 'off' the whole time. Even though her 'strong-willed' acting is just as good as Shoko Akiyama's, I guess Sora is just meant to be the 'little sister' type after all. Now I understand why this series, which produced such a masterpiece with Shoko Akiyama, ended so abruptly after only three volumes.
