This work is what got me started on collecting Kuruki Rei’s films. The daughter is forced to endure being violated by her mother’s live-in lover, while her childhood friend—the man’s own child living next door—is beaten and extorted for money. The friend has no choice but to endure it, and soon both are abandoned when their parents leave. They lean on each other to survive, but when the man returns to violate the daughter and steal the money the friend worked so hard to earn, the man’s son steps in. The daughter had been waiting for her friend to finish his prison sentence. Kuruki Rei perfectly portrayed a fragile, beautiful, and devoted daughter in this film. The sex scenes subtly reflect their mental states at each moment. Even with toxic parents, being abandoned brings anxiety. She even harbors doubts about the daughter’s sexual techniques. While there’s no symbolic handkerchief, I consider this a 'masterpiece' that captures the humanity and the tangled affection of these two childhood friends more deeply than any big-budget film by a famous director.

The setup leading up to the penetration is wonderful! Rei-san's purity is beautiful.
