The chaotic vibe and the 'anything goes' atmosphere are comforting. The lead is Ayu-san. She's an actress I love who tackles everything (seme, uke, even lesbian scenes) with sheer momentum rather than technical acting skills. It starts with a brawl on the roof of an abandoned building. It's got that 'Sukeban Deka' vibe from two generations ago, or maybe 'Crows Zero' from one generation ago (though that might be a stretch). From the disheveled uniforms to the characters and choreography, Ayu-san fits the role perfectly. The casting and filming techniques show a lot of effort, making a great first impression. Ayu-san transfers in on a secret mission. The set design of the graffiti-covered school is atmospheric. It features a teacher who acts like a mad scientist (annoying and distracting), a gang leader who picks a fight with Ayu-san (but is actually a good guy who looked up to her brother), and a timid student council president (the real mastermind). The student council president plots to overthrow the government with his cronies, and you can't help but think, 'Who are these guys?' Exactly. She reveals herself as a special investigator, and a brawl ensues. The gang leader is taken hostage, leaving Ayu-san helpless. The first encounter happens when the president forces the gang leader to do it in front of everyone. The play itself is standard, but the actor plays the gang leader's reluctance well, and Ayu-san does a great job portraying her sensitivity despite her disgust. Back in the classroom, Ayu-san's memory is hazy. She tries to punch the teacher for mocking the students, but she's too weak and gets taken advantage of by the teacher and mob students. In the lab (another elaborate set), she's tortured with toys by the teacher and brainwashed again. Her memory fades further. In the locker room, she shows the gang leader her masturbation; he scolds her and begs her to avenge her brother, which brings her back to her senses for the final battle. The brawl in the hallway is immersive, thanks to the sound effects, Ayu-san's action acting, and great camera angles. The 3P with the president and teacher is a masterclass in her masochistic play style. The ending features news footage as Ayu-san vows revenge. The use of the rooftop at the beginning and end, and the locker room in the early and late stages, is a nice touch. As for the director, while they are reliable, you can't help but feel they're churning out too much work these days. But this film is so meticulously crafted that you wonder why they put in so much effort. With an unwavering commitment to storytelling, visuals, music, and sets, it's a flawless masterpiece.
