There are some compromises made in the live-action adaptation, but the hard-hitting scenes are well-reproduced, making it a solid adaptation for fans of the source material. You can tell there's a lot of effort put into this.

Miso-chan's cuteness is a given, but for some reason, it doesn't really grab me. The actor's performance is minimal, and the dialogue feels like it should be in manga speech bubbles. I did get a few laughs during the maid outfit scene, but after that, it just felt like watching a drama.

I was totally into the actress's type, but the hairstyle didn't quite fit. It's a really well-made piece, but the styling could have been a little better to make it perfect.
