MOON-006 - Cigarette Affair ~Forbidden Love on the Balcony Connecting with the Neighbor's Wife over Cigarettes~ Hikaru Konno

The title being AV led me to expect a story about adultery or forbidden love, but it actually feels like a heartbreaking romance novel where they don't want to break up but have to. The acting from both veteran actors is just too good, and it really pulls you into the story. The director also did a great job with the direction. There's a scene where the two of them carefully smoke a cigarette, pouring their feelings into it (no spoilers!), and it's so sad it made me cry. I'll leave the erotic evaluation to others, but the dramatic elements are definitely worth watching. I recommend it if you like drama-style content.

Being blown on with the smoke from Konpika's cigarette makes me happy (based on experience). It's truly ecstatic... strangely addictive.

My impression is that this isn't an AV focused on just the act itself. Back in college (over 45 years ago!), I saw something similar to this at a small art theater when class was canceled – it reminded me of Nikkatsu Roman Porno. It wasn't just erotic; it portrayed the subtle feelings between men and women. Times have changed, and this work isn't just about the act either. It tells a casual story about a man and a woman, and you could even call it a Showa-era romance porno… (laughs). Like I mentioned in my review of the previous YONAKA work, this one also resonates with my sensibilities. So, if you're just looking for something quick, you should check out another AV title.

This is a good work. There's no hardcore or overly erotic play, but the story of an ordinary housewife falling into an affair with her neighbor due to a lack of sex with her husband, and the acting, are fantastic. In these kinds of works, the other characters besides the two leads usually just make a brief appearance and then disappear completely, but in this one, the interactions between the neighbor and his wife are also properly depicted, making the flow feel natural. Also, the scene depicting Hikaru indulging in sex in the next room with her wife present, and her affair partner, feels deliciously taboo. Hikaru and her co-star both give a great performance not just during the scenes, but before and after as well, making it enjoyable as a drama. While I enjoy hardcore works, I also appreciate pieces like this that you can enjoy as a drama.
