The common thread between Shiraishi and Fuji is that they both poured everything into something as kids, hit a wall, felt the sting of failure, and eventually debuted in AV. Their paths were different, but they've landed on the same stage. The interview with Director Yanai at the start really breaks down Shiraishi's walls. She opens up candidly about everything—her childhood, her mother, marriage, childbirth, and how her feelings have evolved. Yanai's interviewing skills are top-notch. Once the action starts, Shiraishi's expression shifts. It's not the "actress face" you usually see; it's the face of a woman. It felt like a side of her she only shows to someone she truly trusts. That long, lingering gaze and the kiss... it was beautiful (even if her arm was in the way). It wasn't about fancy positions; seeing her actively seek a kiss with her tongue was incredibly rare and felt so real. In my book, when a woman initiates a kiss like that, it means she's given her heart and soul. Even if it was acting, it hit me hard. A male performer could never capture this vibe. For me, it was absolute perfection.
Like Fuji Kanna mentioned in her review, it's way too interview-heavy for a documentary, and the candid camera work is just awful. It felt like I was watching the director's personal home video, and it wasn't enjoyable at all. Total waste of money… I regret buying it…
