This is a 2D work with an FPV perspective, but it's an ambitious piece that perfectly compensates for the shortcomings of VR works. For example, in a kiss scene, VR only shows the other person's eyes and part of the mask, but this work put a lot of effort into recreating the kiss *through* the mask. Only the actor's mouth overlaps with the mask, but the actress consistently looks at the camera, allowing for an objective view of the kiss scene through the mask, and the immersion is incredibly high despite being 2D. Especially the mask-fella scene, which is often too far away to see clearly in VR, is filmed with a clear close-up of the actress in this work. The strengths of 2D are fully utilized. I want to see more ambitious works like this. It's one of the best mask works out there.
