NEO-083 - Rei Mizuna Retirement Documentary

I've watched all of her works since her debut, but none have revealed her charm as much as this one. It's a classic 'Raydic' production that stands apart from AV studios that just focus on making things hardcore. I was surprised that *that* person appeared in the middle (lol). There were even tears in the final scene. It was a truly wonderful work.

Why don't AV directors bother to understand the actress, respect her presence, and strive to bring out her natural personality? Actresses are always clever and don't show their true selves. They just go through the required, formulaic segments without wasting time. If they have to be handled like that, the production is a failure. A work only succeeds if the actress acts naturally and freely, and even if the set is in chaos, the final cut captures her charm. You shouldn't force an actress to suppress her personality to fit the runtime. In other words, you shouldn't force the foot to fit the shoe. The highlight of this work is the scene where Rei Mizuna speaks candidly in an interview. As far as I know, there hasn't been a documentary-style work featuring her, and the focus on niche fetish content shows the production's lack of ability to bring out her true charm. Many directors without vision have lost to this clever actress. Even after eight years, she remains smart, beautiful, and untainted. It's a recurring theme that she saves these otherwise pointless DVDs. This work is worth it for the tasteful title, beautiful cover, and the short but natural interview, so the price isn't too high. There's nothing worth watching besides Rei Mizuna. This means she is the only reason these countless mediocre DVDs have any value at all. The producers should be grateful to her.
