It's actually quite thoughtful that they show the backstory of the previous incident before getting into the main content! I was impressed by their commitment to exploring the grittiness of the 'repeat offender' theme rather than just using it as a sales tactic to push the previous title. The core scenes are also great, with a lingering sense of cruelty. The girl at the club was the best, though I think the cinematography really gave her an advantage. It's better to cast someone in that 'middle ground' rather than using a super famous actress for an amateur-style role. In that sense, it's a fantastic piece.
