The first two were fine, but the third and fourth felt like a stretch for high school student rolesโit didn't work. They lacked youth, freshness, and cuteness. That's even before considering the content. When a high school girl drinks an aphrodisiac in front of her childhood friend while knowing the effects... if that stems from a secret desire to be 'held,' I start wondering if it's romantic love or a desire to lose her virginity. But that's barely explored in the film. It would have been interesting to have some dialogue about that after the act, but maybe I'm overthinking it. Perhaps the right way to enjoy it is just as a curious girl. Seeing her act so wild and free is actually quite entertaining.
