A housewife is assaulted by an intruder who refuses to leave, hiding in the house and threatening her to keep silent. She's forced into degrading acts like cleaning while naked and covered in oil, performing oral sex under the table during family meals, and even on her son in the bath. The nightmare peaks when she's violated right next to her sleeping husband, and her visiting sister becomes the next target.
I didn't think she appeared in Natural High much, but she was in this! Absolutely wonderfulโก
There were so many moments where I thought, 'There's no way they wouldn't get caught!' so I couldn't get immersed at all. Especially the common trope of doing it right next to someone in the same bedโthat's a guaranteed way to get caught, and it always ruins the immersion for me. I wish they'd make the scenarios a bit more realistic.
The acting in the cover photo was good. The plot veered off my personal preference midway, but it was put together reasonably well.
The two main actresses were flawless. The first one was good throughout, but felt like she was screaming a bit too much. The second one was especially good in the trash dump scene. In episode 1, the window cleaning and dining scenes were good; in episode 2, the kitchen scene was great. Reasons for point deduction: - Needed more realism, like the scene where she takes off her skirt at the dining table (unbelievable). - The scene with the son and sister felt too rushed, which was a letdown for me. - I wanted a scene where she gets violated once right next to her sleeping husband. It's common in these types of works, but the man doing the violating should be bursting with pent-up sexual desire, yet the first play (sex) is way too long. I could forgive it if it were the second time or later, but it just felt unrealistic while watching.
Is the selling point the public humiliation in front of everyone, or the sense of immorality in front of her husband? Either way, the execution feels half-baked. If it's humiliation, they should've used remote vibes more; if it's immorality, they should've had more dialogue with the intruder. The 'intruder' premise feels like it's holding the work back. Plus, the cast size is too small.
