She looks like she's smiling the whole time, which really dilutes the impact of the story. It might just be her natural expression, but I wish she had shown more desperation, at least in the beginning. Also, without any resistance against the tyrannical character, it just feels like she's screaming for no reason. To make it more compelling, they needed direction that conveyed her inner state, not just text on the screen.
