The actress and the actor playing the son are fine, but the interactions are monotonous and lack excitement. For the final scene, I wanted to see the son waiting naked in his mother's bed instead of waiting in the kitchen, followed by an intense encounter. A pity.

It's not bad. The cast is great, too. But it's just missing something. Since the shut-in son is still young, I feel like he'd be more intense—not in terms of duration, but frequency. If they had factored that into the depiction, it would have been a much better work.
