OBA-006 - Spending an October night with my mom in a Halloween costume

It's an older title, but a good one. Oshima-san's body has definitely softened and she has a noticeable belly, but her tall stature and elegant demeanor cover it up quite well. The plot is a bit absurd, but it's a well-made film filled with pathos, centered on a single-mother household. Oshima-san's acting is quite charming. I wish there had been a bit more of a 'taboo' feel, but the way the gentle emotional exchange between a mother and son living on the fringes of society overlaps with their physical intimacy elevates it into a unique form of eroticism. There are three substantial sex scenes, each with a different theme, so it never gets boring. It follows the classic pattern of son, son's friend, then son again, but the scene in the bathroom before the second round with the son—where she scolds him for touching her breasts while simultaneously seducing him—is masterfully done. It lacks an S-tier body or acrobatic positions, but it's a work with real character.
