Since there are so many cast members, it feels like they just rushed through the filming. There are even identical situations repeated. It's the definition of cutting corners. They're just using cheap sets to narrate what's happening on screen. The production staff needs to make something that touches human emotions. I don't think you can move an audience without building depth through literature or classic art. It was just a frustrating and disappointing waste of time.
