I'm home. This is the long-awaited DVD release for fans! Midori Mio fans! Thank you for waiting. This is a video work after several years! Expanding Midori Mio's sexy world on the stage of Nanki Shirahama! It is a masterpiece! Midori Mio fans, please look forward to it!!
I think someday there might be a guy watching on โTV with mosaics, but only the important parts are visible, or if they don't want to do revealing stuff, that's fine too. But making something half-hearted and only enjoying it within a small circle feels bad for the fans.
This is a review from someone who's seen her past work and other content. Honestly, I thought we wouldn't be getting any more DVD releases, so I'm just happy she put one out. I'm sure she struggled with the decision, and I applaud her for going through with it. I think she really worked hard to become the 'Mito Mio' we know today. Also, since it originally came with a photobook, I think you'll enjoy it more if you watch it alongside the book. The photobook has more revealing content, and there are scenes in the book that aren't in the DVD, so I'd love to see some unreleased scenes or a making-of video. I recommend the bandage scene and the scene with the toy. Her figure is divine, and her abs are incredible. If you know her personality from X, it'll be even more exciting. Of course, I'd like to see more daring expressions and exposure, but I believe that will come in future releases. I'm giving it 5 stars, hoping for more to come!
Of course, she's back, but... Being rated R18 and considering her past work from the same company, I was expecting full nudity!... But when I opened it, the exposure was lower, and there was none of her signature see-through or accidental exposure. It's content that would easily pass for R15. I admire her for maintaining this appearance despite her age, and I was really looking forward to it because her vibe had changed so much... It's just so disappointing. Really disappointing. Extremely disappointing. Disappointed. That's all.
I was hesitant about a DVD release in this day and age, as I usually watch streaming or Blu-ray quality content. But since it was Mio Mido's return to commercial video and an R-18 rating, I had some hopeful expectations for more explicit scenes. I bought it with a somewhat youthful feeling. But it completely failed to meet my expectations. What's with the "I'm home"? You've got the wrong place to return to. Regarding the video quality, there's a noticeable difference between rough and clear parts. I'm not an expert in video production, but considering the limitations of DVD โ pixel count, resolution, compression, capacity โ they could have chosen backgrounds and scenes, and used camera work, to minimize the roughness and better highlight the subject's appeal. There are industry or budget constraints, of course, but the female nude is inherently subtle and shy. Therefore, those who handle and share it for profit should strive to present it as beautifully as possible, even with limitations. Aesthetics are subjective, of course. But in this era saturated with pornography, I may have become careless about how I view the value of the female nude. I felt that after finishing this work and reflected on it. The actress's proportions and condition during the shoot were very good, and she had a sensuality and allure that seemed to reverse the innocence and youthfulness of her previous works, appropriate for her age (though unknown). I learned about the release through her SNS, and I had a vague feeling that she wasn't very enthusiastic about it, and the work was exactly as I expected. I'm not a huge fan, but her independently released works are much more erotic and satisfying. She seems to have been involved in the industry for quite some time, but I want her to fully step into the AV world and blossom. My balls are telling me that. But rather than the current AV industry that keeps recycling the same male actors, I hope she can break the boundaries between adult content, gravure, and general films and videos, based on her track record of expressing herself within the constraints of 'good' eroticism, and create a new and creative realm where she can thrive and achieve self-realization. As a fan, I look forward to her future endeavors.
