So glad to see a new installment in the Undercover Decoy series after a while! The heroine taking the lead by overpowering the male lead with her physical strength early on, or using her feminine wiles to gather information about the case – if those aspects of her being a 'real detective' were more emphasized, it would have been an even better work. While this one had a happy ending, I wish the descent into pleasure was more drawn out and slowly paced. Like, showing her using honey traps in various locations to get leads, or even a scene where she takes down thugs with her strength, all unfolding 'over time' to emphasize the duration of the investigation and make the protagonist feel less vulnerable. That would really build immersion and tension. Director Kawaguchi always delivers something a cut above the usual, unlike those mass-produced works that just focus on costumes. I'm confident he knows exactly what a work featuring elegant and capable women should be like.

Seeing Amamiya Hibiki as the undercover decoy infiltrate a night pool immediately made me think something shady was going down! But you don't often see detectives going undercover in a night pool, so I figured it was a trope they threw in for the sake of the genre. Hibiki-san has such a large bust that it almost makes her *too* noticeable, even for an undercover operation. Objectively speaking, she's a very alluring detective! And her breasts are so soft, and her nipples are just… perfect! This kind of scene needs more than just visual stimulation, though.

I'm so glad to see Kitourune Kawaguchi's series back! The night pool setting was a definite plus. However, I was a little disappointed by the lack of dramatic elements. I wanted to see her really commit to the 'decoy detective' role, risking her body to gather clues and get closer to the truth. While I understand it was part of the plan, being captured and unilaterally assaulted by the enemy felt a bit anticlimactic. The appearance of the handsome actors also detracted from the immersion. I think this genre needs a good balance of action and drama, and Kitourune Kawaguchi is a genius at creating that kind of tension. It feels like a missed opportunity. For example, they could have had a love potion in the night pool water, slowly drugging her without her knowing, or shown her as a capable elite detective gathering clues and uncovering the truth. That contrast would have created a lot of tension, and a climax where the righteous detective ultimately loses would have been amazing. The Yankee Detective series and the long-running Decoy Detective series were incredibly immersive. I hope the next installment features more dramatic elements to solidify the image of a strong, cool, and stylish female protagonist. If you get the chance, I recommend checking out 'Decoy Detective Aoyama Yuka is in the Rain of Ryogoku' – it might give you some insight into what I mean.

I've been admiring Hibiki Amamiya's curves for a while now, but I wasn't really into her previous work. I was so glad she finally did a *ring* piece! The second scene is my favorite.
