I thought this was just another mediocre film with generic stimulation, but upon re-watching, it's actually not bad at all as a pure love or healing story. An older 'sister' figure, who grew up like family since childhood, marries the protagonist's father. As the history of this family, including the mother's death, is revealed, their relationships and emotions become grounded in reality. Tony Oki doesn't quite look the age to be calling Kasumi 'sister,' but given the script requires a high level of acting, it's understandable. The 'mother' continues to forgive her 'son,' who expresses his agony over having his loved one taken away through rape, believing that he will eventually change his mind and understand her. The dialogue after the first rape—"Sister, do you love me?" "Yes, I do"—is heart-wrenching. The ending, where the woman shows the strength and kindness to offer unconditional forgiveness to her 'son' despite the potential of having been impregnated, is deeply moving. This isn't a film for those looking for visual tropes like 'corruption.' You really need to watch the entire drama portion to appreciate its true value.

During the act, the woman incessantly repeats, 'Hey, stop, please. Can we just stop now? No, you can't do this.' She keeps trying to talk him out of it, while the man just keeps repeating, 'I love you. I've always liked you. I'll make you happy. Let's get married.' They keep doing this while changing positions, but that’s literally all there is to it. In the second sex scene, the man becomes more self-centered than in the first, and the woman starts cursing her own situation. However, the change is so marginal that the film just ends up being a long, monotonous depiction of sex scenes. Lisa Kasumi has gotten a bit more chubby since her debut, but personally, I prefer her current look. Well, she’s gone from 'curvy' to 'plump,' so I wouldn't mind if she went back to being a bit more firm, though.
