Ukishima Catfight was the best. The loser gets a 'fountain' penalty, which is super humiliating and great. I haven't seen it lately, but that dynamic is fantastic. In the second match, I expected Yu Shinoda to be dominated due to the size difference (the casting team probably aimed for that too), but it was a shame we didn't get to see her penalty. They shouldn't rely on luck for these things; they should write a script or include an 'IF' scenario where the other person loses.
There's so much content here that it took me three days to finish watching. It's packed with great actresses, definitely worth the watch.
The highlight for me was the strip-tease catfight! Making the stripped actress squirt as a punishment is a great concept. The downside is that because it's filmed at a pool, the audio is choppy, so you can't really hear the moans or the wet sounds of her being fingered. Still, you can tell how intense the fingering was just by her expressions and the way she squirts.
I watched this for the water chicken fight. Thinking back to how we could see almost the same footage on terrestrial TV, it makes me realize how lenient TV used to be. I was looking forward to some 'accidental' exposure, so the dissolving swimsuit felt unnecessary. Also, it might have been fun if they had a character whose job was to pull off the girls' bikinis underwater, leading to everyone being naked by the end.
I'll skip the reviews for the 2016 main feature and behind-the-scenes as they've been covered elsewhere. The unreleased footage of the actresses struggling to change clothes underwater was entertaining. The main draw of this anniversary edition is the digest of past works. With 5 hours of digest footage alone, plus 2 hours for '09 and behind-the-scenes, and 1.5 hours each for '11 and '12, it's satisfying enough on its own. However, self-introductions are omitted, making it hard to use as a catalog to identify actresses, except for '12 where subtitles appear during individual handjobs. Also, the '12 individual handjobs seem to be edited to show only the start and finish. It's a shame that Yuki Maeda's legendary skillโwhere she'd perform a second handjob after the actor finished early to stay on scheduleโjust looks like a standard handjob here. As for the cavalry battle, they show all three rounds, but they should have rotated the top riders for each round. The actresses on the bottom don't participate in the swimsuit tug-of-war, so they have no presence. Also, it's annoying that a few people go missing by the end every year. Pros and cons: '09: First year, so less focus on big breasts. Highlight is the catfight between Ai Miyazaki and Rea Aoyama. '11: The white team leader's voice is grating. Her screeching and 'comedic' reactions when failing to finish in time are just trashy. I don't know why she was made leader. It ruins the mood every time she's on screen. I hope they edit her out if they ever release a compilation. '12: Best year for competition content, including Yuki Maeda's handjob. The value for money is phenomenal, especially with the '12 content included.
