It doesn't quite reach the heights of the masterpieces 7 or 8, but it's still a great entry. This series is all about that pop-style, pathetic, and embarrassing vibe. I'd love to see more of the 'green-screen Shibuya street' aesthetic from 7, with long-duration high-leg poses that almost reveal everything, or the elaborate brainwashing scenes from 8. Seeing a large cast in an office, classroom, or a big family all wearing high-legs in daily life would be great. Please cast a top actress who hasn't appeared or been 'brainwashed' yet.

I don't think the High-Leg series needs men, even for bit parts. I wish it would just be the actresses only. Also, I was totally turned off when a staff member was visible for a split second in the final high-leg scene. Past entries 8, 9, and 11 were the absolute best.

*I think the way they were brainwashed was good because it was a return to basics. However, personally, I think it's better to brainwash someone with one shot of the ray gun and turn them into a high-grade human regardless of their intentions. If you can survive being hit by a ray gun and still have enough personality to fight back, then there's no point in it. Those who have little resistance to Haigre are brainwashed with a single shot of a ray gun, and those who are resistant are not affected by the ray gun, so I thought the brainwashing would be better if Haigrejo-sama took off their clothes, put on a high-leg leotard, and directly brainwashed Haigre. Also, I think it would be good to have a high-quality male character as well. I think it would be a good idea to have him in charge of brainwashing, and use it as a stage setting where he threatens the girl that she will be brainwashed if she climaxes. I think it's probably because the director understands that high-quality movies mean naughty, so there isn't much variety in the story. Haigure is a brainwashing method, so you don't have to force yourself to do it during sex, and if you can't make a sound during a blow job, you can record the Haigure sound separately and use it as background music to express that all that's going on in a girl's head is Haigure and dick.

They heavily advertised a return to the roots, so I bought this hoping it'd be better than the previous installments I skipped, but… yeah, this is what I expected. Still, the script is full of inconsistencies and feels really rough. What *was* that mysterious black Higre human hiding in the futon? They mentioned Higrejo = Ms. Hatano, but Mio Ichijo randomly asks, "Who are you?" And then there's another black-masked Higre human blending in with Minato Namiru and Momose Himari, casually doing Higre… I'm the one who wants to ask, "Who are you?!" Seriously, the pronunciation of "Higre" is still off, and is there *anyone* who actually likes the response of "Hai… Grey!?" Wouldn't something like "Yes, Lord Higrejo" or "As you command, Lord Higrejo" feel more brainwashed and good? Being hit with a ray gun and immediately going into Higre pose is what Higre is about, not dragging things out and being all sloppy *after* you've transformed. And this lesbian scene is *so* long… Honestly, I'd say 90% of the runtime is just awkward "Higre Higre" while they're doing… that. What was the point of going back to the roots? Were there even lesbian scenes in the original or the first installment? The focus on lesbians to the point where brainwashing and corruption feel secondary… all I can think is "Yeah, this is just how it is now…" I get they need to fill almost 2 hours, but shouldn't the director try to fill the time with something *other* than lesbian scenes? Like a part dedicated solely to brainwashing scenes, or a part where Higrejo just repeats his loyalty lines, or a corner where they repeat Higre with different expressions… a part where you can enjoy the gap between before and after brainwashing… If they don't want to do any of that, they should just take down the "Shameful Brainwashing!" banner and sell it as a new genre called "Higrez." Higrejo: "I pledge my loyalty to Lord Higrejo〜!" ← Higrejo, you are the one… There's a male voice mixed in when the wheelchair patient is hit with the ray… ← This is what I mean by being rough. Is it enough to just zoom in on the crotch? The only good thing I can say is that we got to see a Higre transformation of an actress who looked modest and pure this time. I sincerely hope to see more diverse types of Higre humans. There are a lot of voice works and illustrations made by people who really love Higre, so the director should do some research.

Back to basics with the 'kani-mata' (wide-legged) pose and high-leg action – it's amazing. Lots of the high-leg designs are super high-cut, which is fantastic. The busty, overflowing breasts and high-leg look of Sugimura Minami in the latter half sent shivers down my spine. Please have her appear in a few more works, and maybe even give her a leading role.
