RCTD-746 - Possession Gun: Taking Over the Academy and Subjugating the Principal

Like the recent Body Jack series, I just can't help but compare it to the quality of the older titles...

The charm of the older works and the depiction of possession, almost like brainwashing, are wonderful. The actresses and the scenario are also fantastic.

The long-awaited new entry in the 'Soul-Infusing Possession Gun' series. Since it was a school setting I'd always imagined, I even bought the 4K version, which I rarely do. Having finished it, here is my review. (Spoiler alert) To start with the conclusion: honestly, as a 'Soul-Infusing Possession Gun' title, it was a disappointment. What do you expect when you hear the title? For me, the appeal is in 'women having their souls infused, becoming puppets under the protagonist's will, and being forced to say or do things that would be absolutely impossible otherwise.' Yes, 'control' is the key point. However, this work lacks the visual effect of the soul flying into the woman's body, and the sound effects are just some vague wind noises. There's no sense of a soul being infused at all, and I was left wondering, 'What exactly is happening?' throughout the whole film. It gets worse after the infusion; rather than becoming a puppet, they act like 'an autonomous version of themselves,' and I couldn't help but think, 'Isn't this just Body Jack?' Of course, in past works, women would sometimes speak in the protagonist's tone. But that worked because there was a clear depiction of the soul being infused, and scenes where the protagonist was nearby, focusing his will to 'make them say it.' Without those depictions, having them act like a 'second self' for the majority of the runtime just feels wrong. Overall, the female teacher has way too much screen time, which significantly cut into the scenes of the other students or the principal being controlled. With four beautiful actresses, they should have limited the teacher to the early 'practice' scenes and given more time to the others. As I said, my expectations were high because it's a series and a setting I love, so this level of quality is a letdown. It's not without its moments, but the core concept of 'Control x Possession'—the series' greatest strength—has been diluted to the point where it feels like any other generic title. I sincerely hope the next installment returns to the basics.

I kind of wish there was a scene like in those possession-themed stories, where the protagonist possesses their crush and brainwashes them into falling in love.

It's been such a long time since a new entry came out. The 'Soul Infusion Possession Gun' series is my absolute favorite, so I bought and watched this immediately. The previous entries had very few lesbian or gender-bender elements, so I was a bit disappointed that there were so many this time... I prefer brainwashing, mind control, and harem themes. Of course, I like possession stories too, but the most special aspects of this series are the harem and mind control elements. For example, the previous work had many practice scenes and 2-3 sex scenes, but this time there's only one male-female sex scene, which is a bit... When I saw there were four actresses, I was expecting a great harem, but to my surprise, there wasn't one. Also, when the first actress gets possessed, it's just a standard masturbation scene? Is this just a generic possession work? I still prefer the original 'Soul Infusion Possession Gun'! If possible, please bring that series back! It's my lifelong wish! Of course, I like this work too, because it's my favorite series~
