Athena Eizo never misses the mark. The director is a veteran who worked alongside the likes of Masayoshi Nogami during the golden age of pink films, so he really knows the ins and outs of adult cinema. He also does a great job developing the actresses into solid performers. I do wish there were some changes to the male cast, though—even if they are still far better than the insufferable, over-the-top guys you see in Side-B productions like Ozawa, Someshima, Abe, and Tatsu.
