It was such a treat to see so many nostalgic actresses in this 'best of' compilation series that never misses. Among them, MIMI, who appears first, was fantastic. Iโm honestly disappointed I didn't know about her sooner. Since it's composed of the top 3 from each series, you see the same actresses repeatedly, but as a fan, I was perfectly satisfied seeing so many of my favorites. There's something special about the way AVs were shot back thenโthe camera angles, the eye contact, and the raw aesthetic. Itโs not as polished as modern productions, but you can really feel the effort. I definitely want to see more works from this era.
It was all just too dated, so it felt like a waste. Above all, the actresses' makeup was way too old-fashioned. I can't recommend this one.
