If anything, the slightly dated quality actually added to the 'hidden camera' vibe, which I liked. If this were in 8K, it might have felt less like voyeurism. It wasn't just the girl changing clothes; having the mother and shop clerk present made it easy to get immersed in the scenario, and I really felt that thrill of peeping. The way she sticks her butt out right in front of you while changing is just one example of how well-shot this film is.
As others have mentioned, I wish there was a bit more monologue. Since there are so many people, it's easy to find a favorite. The camera placement is excellentโit's positioned perfectly so you don't see the reflection in the mirror.
You can experience the thrill of peeking into the sanctuary of a fitting room. The camera angle felt like a real hidden camera. Not that I've ever done that, of course.
