It's not trying to be deep, so maybe this approach is fine; it feels like a quantity-over-quality project, and in that sense, it succeeds. There's zero tension regarding the theme. If the boyfriend were hiding nearby, it could have heightened the sense of taboo and allowed for 'resisting pleasure' performances, but that requires acting skills, so they stuck to a 'sleeping' theme, which is a clean way to handle it. The actresses looked great as students, but the actors in gym uniforms were honestly a no-go (^^).
