RMAN-003 - Finding My True Master: The Temptress Kawakami Yu

*When I first saw it, I gave it a bad rating, but after watching it for the first time in a while, I've improved my rating. After all, Yuuchun fits perfectly in this kind of masochistic work!!! It's so cute. Anyway, as everyone has said in their reviews, I had a hard time understanding the break between the first and second episodes at first (I didn't know it was a 2-episode series), and the actors were the same, so I wondered what was going on, but after rewatching it, I understood it, so it's OK. The original story is inserted in the middle, but I got it in a good way, and I think it was good that Yu-chan's reading of the lines came out well. I'm also looking forward to this kind of work. *Although she was shy at first, Yuu Kawakami's sad expression and mature body are truly beautiful as she is trained to do what she wants. She is well-suited to the role of a woman who is obedient to a man and can't resist, and in the final scene where she repeatedly calls out ``master,'' the fantasy grows that she wants him to call her that, too. Original drawings are used in some places, but I would have liked to see a live-action version of the embarrassing shopping scene. It is also divided into two parts, but it was difficult to tell where they were separated. Those points are a little disappointing, but Yu Kawakami was cute and wonderful throughout the entire movie.

As the 2014 label suggests, this was previously adapted in 2006. This version consists of two stories from the original short story collection: 'The True Master' and 'Opening Up' (no anal training). The direction involves inserting panels from the original manga into the story. Personally, I don't like this style as it distracts from the live-action footage and makes me compare it to the source material. Also, while a two-part structure is nice, the actor is the same for both the husband and the trainer, which can be a bit confusing. My favorite scene was the play on the balcony; Yu Kawakami's expression of shame and her expert tongue work were incredibly exciting. The DVD includes a slideshow of the original 'The True Master' (with/without audio) and a collection of CMs with comments from Yu Kawakami. I think fans of the original, fans of Yu Kawakami, and those who enjoy light training themes will all find something to like here.
