The term 'Space Girl' used to refer to the popular actresses who were exclusive to Cosmo Planning and featured in the many magazines of Eichi Publishing—which sadly went under due to poor management. If they were going to use that title, they should have cast actresses of that caliber. Unfortunately, these were just standard project-level models with no real charm. I've always liked this studio, but seeing them cheapen the 'Space Girl' brand for a series makes me wonder if they've lost their touch. I felt so let down that I dropped the DVD in the mailbox after watching it just once.
Yeah, first off, she looks nothing like her. Her face is a bit below average, and she's chubbier overall than I expected. Her breasts are a bit saggy, and her 'orgasm face' is lackluster... plus, the hair color just doesn't suit her. The content itself isn't too bad, so if you're into chubby girls and don't care about the resemblance to Kaori Manabe, it might be worth a watch.
When you hear 'Space Girl' (Uchu Shojo), you think of the young, beautiful actresses from the old Uchu Kikaku era—filmed with soft focus and gentle scenes, capturing a fresh, cute aesthetic. They cast Shiori Manabe for this title, but it just doesn't fit that image. The packaging emphasizes her in a uniform, but the fact that there were barely any scenes like that might be why I felt it was a letdown. That said, Shiori Manabe herself is a real talent. She's cute, the scenes are intense, her beautiful breasts bounce perfectly, and she seems very sensitive—her moaning during the second scene was truly impressive. I definitely want to see her in future works.
Her face isn't exactly stunning, but she's not ugly either. She's got a great set of 90-size breasts, though. From the interview to the blowjob, she's not really that skilled. Moving on to the main act, her skin is beautiful, but she just lacks that certain sex appeal. Looking forward to her next work.
