The two have been involved for a while. With the mother's remarriage, she tries to stop, but the son is fully intent on continuing. As soon as the husband leaves for a business trip, he goes after her. She puts up a token resistance at first, but she doesn't just fall easily—she gets deeply immersed and enjoys it. Furthermore, after he makes her finish, she takes the lead to make him finish, saying, 'Now it's my turn to serve you.' It's like a couple in love having two rounds, perfectly in sync. It's a great depiction of two people who have lived a 'married life' longer than the one with her actual husband. As for the title 'Conceiving the son's child,' it's not explicitly stated that she's pregnant (it was only a 3-day trip, and there's no epilogue), so it's more like they were 'having sex with the intensity of conceiving his child.' Given the taboo nature of incestuous pregnancy, the lack of a clear outcome is understandable. Personally, I would have liked an ending where she gets pregnant, suffers morning sickness, or is seen caring for the baby.

*Yuka Mizuno is amazing. Yuka's voice and gestures naturally bring out the image of a mother wavering between love and guilt, and you can feel her emotions as they are. The sound is a mixture of silence and heat, and the tension is constant. The editing progresses at a good pace, so the intensity of the three days hits you all at once.

The slurping sounds from the male actor are incredibly distracting. It’s driving me crazy. The story is flawless, but those sounds are just too annoying. He didn't do that in his other works, so maybe it's the director's preference, but it’s a huge letdown.
