Kaoru KidoYuichi returns home after failing in Tokyo. With his parents away, he stays with his former teacher, Kaoru. Seeing her sweaty, sensual body up close, his repressed desires explode, leading to an affair.
This is my first time watching a Kaoru film. It feels like it's been a long time since I've seen a 'proper mature woman film' from Madonna. Kaoru is set at 56, but isn't she actually in her 60s? If she were an exclusive, they would have debuted her as a 'miracle 60-year-old.' Regardless, she is truly the best talent for a woman around 60, with the beauty and elegant sexiness that her reputation suggests. Even though this is only her third work, it's already a masterpiece that could easily be called her 'signature work.' Her refined and graceful demeanor is wonderful. Early on, when she reunites with the actor, there's a close-up of her smile—the gentleness, the softness, the fine lines... this is the true essence of a mature woman. Any seasoned fan of mature women should be able to finish just from that face alone. (The close-up of her expression while eating a fried dish was also strangely alluring and erotic.) The actor was a suitable young man, and his performance was quite good. The way he threw himself at the older woman he admired and thrust his hips instinctively was a perfect representation of 'how a young man should properly hold a mature woman.' I think the royal road of mature woman AV is the 'eros released when a young man and an older woman seek each other out, transcending the age gap.' It's amazing that Japan produces actresses like Kaoru; perhaps this country is one of the world's leading 'mature woman superpowers.' I've re-evaluated Madonna this time; it shows they can still make films like this if they really try. I hope Madonna takes good care of her.
