SOD Investigation Team tackles the ultimate taboo: a real-life father and daughter. Can a veteran male performer cross the line with his own daughter under the guise of work? Tempted by a massive paycheck, will he actually go all the way?

It's been a while since I watched an AV all the way through without skipping. It has a cheap, documentary-style vibe, but that was right up my alley and I enjoyed it. I especially cracked up at the narration during the first half's climax. The lackluster male lead and the amateurish acting actually felt more like a TV show, which made me empathize with the characters more than in those overly produced dramas.
Not worth watching. It's a very cheaply made documentary that makes the viewer feel embarrassed. I don't think it would be interesting unless you're a fan of the actress.
The emotions between parent and child were portrayed so realistically; it was incredible. I watched it thinking about how unfathomable a father's feelings must be.
Itโs wise not to expect much from Demand-produced stories, as they are always lackluster where it counts. I only watch this for Alice Chigasaki. There was no way they could pull off the 'parent-child' dynamic anyway, and the climax is a ridiculous letdown where Chigasaki, playing the daughter, just covers her eyes. That said, Chigasaki herself looks beautiful and her outfits are on point. I thought the scenes depicting the actual AV filming set were the only parts that had a decent vibe. Unless you're a fan of Chigasaki or enjoy laughing at bad storytelling, you'll likely be disappointed.
Honestly, my only thought was, 'What the hell is this?' They hook you with the theme of 'Do male performers have any professional pride?', but then, for some reasonโand I really don't know whyโit suddenly shifts into a joke mode. They have them reciting pathetic lines in a monotone voice, or ripping off 'Kamata March' (an homage? lol). Then, at the end, it suddenly switches back to serious mode. Does SOD think their customers are idiots?
