SDDE-723 - Document bodyguard (removable) protected Zetlin great rich man

The characters are well-defined from beginning to end, and the story has (a decent amount of) consistency, so the direction is really clean. It was a totally stupid movie, but it was more worth watching than those typical subculture wank flicks. The way the SP, who initially seems emotionless and just does his job, gradually starts to feel things is definitely erotic. It was a totally stupid movie, but. The way they used the pool was genius. So stupid. I saw something good.

I checked it out casually, and the storytelling has some good points throughout, plus the orgy scenes are great. My complaints would be that Chang doesn't look rich at all, there's a lack of close-ups of the upper body, and the actress's face is a bit lacking. But if I start listing everything, it'll never end... I'm looking forward to the next installment. It's SOD, so despite the flaws, I think they could have spent a little more money on it.

The premise is really interesting, but it's a bit of a shame there are only scenes with things 'on' (though there *is* a bonus 'off' scene at the end). It would be so much better if there were H scenes with things 'off' too. The 'on' scenes are full of variety, but in terms of how erotic it is... it's just okay, I guess.

The setup of being able to do whatever you want with a well-behaved bodyguard was a refreshing change from the usual time-stop or mannequin tropes. Especially the fact that he wears sunglasses the whole time really emphasizes his lack of personality, which was good. I'd love it if the next installment leaned even more into the 'disposable bodyguard' vibe. For example, how about the boss repeatedly using and breaking the bodyguard, then discarding him? That would create a more impersonal and brutal flow. It's a rare genre and it's interesting, so I'm looking forward to future installments.

It doesn't imitate Western tropes, nor does it fall into the tired cliché of Asians being invaded by foreigners. It hits a weird sweet spot – a passionate work that's both silly and erotic. The fact that one bodyguard speaks fluent English is a nice touch. The pool scene was a bit drawn out, and I wish the final scene had been more aggressive, but overall it was really good.
