SDMS-523 - Public Humiliation: Ignored While Being Violated

The receptionist swaps shifts with a senior who doesn't speak English, only to be interrogated by a waiting white man who then proceeds to ravage her body. Even when she calls for help, everyone ignores her because she can't speak English. Meanwhile, she's stripped naked, her breasts are licked, she's forced to perform oral sex on the white man, and it ends with him pinning her down and finishing on her face.

I thought the premise of ignoring a rape might explore themes like urban isolation or awkward neighborly dynamics, perhaps with a vibe similar to old-school erotic graphic novels, but it was just a piece of trash. I should have checked the back cover properly before watching. What a letdown.

The concept was good, but in the end, it's just a film about rape amidst a lot of noise. The plot feels forced; if they had focused more on the rape scenes and made them more intense, it might have been watchable.

It features four scenarios: a cafe, a convenience store, an office, and a reception desk. The runtime is a bit short, just over an hour. The cafe scene was the best, but overall I'd give it 3 stars. The concept is interesting, but it would have been better if there were more scenes with multiple men or if the extras' acting—like ignoring the situation—had been more convincing.
