The work is intentionally dark to emphasize Asuka Aida's body, I suppose. Also, SOD Romance is an acquired taste, but I personally like it. The work itself is definitely too dark, so I wonder if they should add more lighting and re-release it.
She was a beautiful actress with a great figure. I liked how erotic she looked while getting excited over her son's morning wood. However, it's a shame the screen was so dark.
Like others have said, the screen is just way too dark! It's dark throughout, and the important scenes are mostly just silhouettes. With the narration added in, it feels like a radio drama. Regardless of the quality, I have to criticize releasing a product you can't even see. Even one star is too much. They really need to reflect on this.
If you look at her evolution since her Takashima Yuika days, it's clear she's become much slimmer and more beautiful. She was always the thin type, but in this work, she's probably at her most toned ever. Her cheeks are slightly sunken, and her body feels completely stripped of any excess fat. It gives the impression of a very intense diet, but I highly rate her dedication—especially since her bust volume hasn't dropped at all, making it look even more impressive by comparison. Her face is still gorgeous, too. Whenever she loses weight, people immediately start throwing around words like 'mentally unstable' or 'anorexic,' but I want to believe it's just her professional spirit as an actress. As someone who loves a slim physique, this level of definition is perfection. Personally, I feel like this is the peak of her condition, but it makes me look forward to seeing her evolve even further. As others have mentioned, the lighting is way too dark, making it hard to clearly see her beautiful body, which brings my rating down. Maybe it fits the dark concept of the film, but it defeats the purpose of casting a model for her visuals. I want to give her a 5 for her incredible body transformation and unique looks, but I'll knock it down to a 4.
Before even talking about the plot or the chemistry, the screen is way too dark... what is up with the color grading? It looks nothing like the sample images. Just look at the second half of the sample video; the whole thing is like that. I haven't seen something this bad in a long time. I complain about lighting sometimes, but I've never seen a whole video this dark. It's not the actors' fault. If it were brighter, my impression would be completely different. Ugh, this is unusable. As a tool for getting off, it's a solid 1-star. Looking at other samples in the 'Son's Morning Wood' series, they aren't this dark, right? How did this pass quality control? I put effort into selecting this based on the content and the actors, so I wouldn't be this harsh if it were just some generic actor, but this is frustrating.
