SHKD-493 - The Top Student's Ordeal: Becoming the Prey of an All-Male Honors Class

Maho Ichikawa... she's great! The story is simple, so the main point is showcasing Maho (which is expected for an AV, I suppose), and in that sense, it's very well-made. I think her charm really shines through. It's a solid production.

*Ichikawa-san is a cute person, so I was looking forward to seeing how she would act in this type of work. However, as other reviewers have written, my honest impression is that it lacks a sense of resistance. Mr. Ichikawa himself may not be suited for drama. I thought the atmosphere was suitable. I think Ichikawa's understated look (not her breasts) is good, so I'm sure there are other works that take advantage of that. I gave it a "poor" rating based on the work itself, not the actress herself.

A male student suddenly rapes a female student, but as everyone says, the resistance feels too weak. The prison-like setting is also filled only with students, which feels out of place. It really should have been in a gym storage room or something similar. The abuse in the locker room is good in terms of the situation, and the process of corrupting the student is fine, but there's no sense of tragedy in the acting. The foreshadowing about the close male student's phone photos and her stripping naked on her own at the end don't make much sense. Is this guy the mastermind? During the act, she gets a call from home and her moans are leaking out; they really should have directed that scene to sound like her normal voice. Still, the full nudity in the classroom was good as it emphasized the actress's clean physique. She took off her glasses, but I personally preferred her naked with the glasses on.

My expectations dropped by 60% right at the start when Ichikawa narrates, 'I got into the advanced class at a prestigious school,' while the guy behind her isn't even opening his textbook and is just messing with his phone. The rest is a mess: male actors who think shouting loudly is enough to intimidate, and an actress who just talks and doesn't put up any real resistance, showing zero commitment to the role. The street kidnapping scene is completely unplanned, and then it just cuts to a basement with a prison cell. The conversation with her mother feels forced and fails to achieve any intended effect. The only watchable part was the end when she finally gives up and starts moving on her own. Ichikawa is cute, but her figure is lacking, and I wish she'd put more effort into her acting outside of the sex scenes.

The content and the scenes in this series aren't bad, but why do they always take the socks off right away? Doesn't that kill 80% of the point of the high school girl theme?
