Since SILK LABO is female-oriented and focuses on the male actor, most of their works, including this one, feature simulated intercourse with no actual penetration shown. It's structured similarly to the idol-style soft-core AVs of the Showa era. Since the target audience is women who are fans of the male actor, the producers likely assume that women who enjoy watching him penetrate someone else have a rather unique fetish. As a result, while it's soft and features a lot of the male actor's awkward facial expressions, it's still a blessing for me just to be able to see Mizuna Rei. I can watch it with peace of mind knowing she isn't being tied up or treated poorly. However, a common issue with many SILK works is that the male actor doesn't seem to love or cherish the woman, or even view her as a sexual object. I'm not sure if this is intentional direction or just the nature of the actors themselves. There are many scenes where, if the man truly cherished and loved Mizuna Rei, he wouldn't be acting that way, which creates a sense of dissonance. It feels like a host who thinks he's a stud sleeping with a woman who's his meal ticket. If that's the intended direction, then fine, but I think a legend like Maro Taiga would have made a film overflowing with genuine love and care for the actress. It must be a difference in character compared to many of the other actors. Regardless, Mizuna Rei's body is beautiful as always, and I think it's a grateful work that gives a glimpse of her kind personality.
