The costume showcase, which is crucial for a Lolita-themed work, is poorly handled. I know it's an older production, but the way they treat the costumes makes me wonder why they even made it the theme. It's disappointing. Plus, there are three scenarios: Gothic Lolita 1 -> Sweet Lolita -> Gothic Lolita 2, but the sex scenes only happen with Gothic Lolita 1 and 2. Why have them hook up twice in the same style of outfit? Why not include the Sweet Lolita to diversify the patterns? The structure is just too loose and disappointing. The actresses themselves were great, though.

They title it 'Gothic Doll' but barely show the actual gothic outfit. It's mostly just close-ups of her face and crotch. It feels like they're intentionally avoiding the clothes. Did someone with no interest in goth direct this? I wish they'd get a real goth fan to direct. Also, the makeup is so light she doesn't look like a 'Gothic Doll' at all. If you wear a gothic outfit without proper gothic makeup, the outfit just overpowers your face. The lazy makeup completely ruins the gothic vibe. It's clear the staff doesn't understand the appeal of the aesthetic. As someone who loves the outfits, I was deeply disappointed.

The actress is cute, and I personally prefer that the Lolita outfit stays on the whole time. That said, I wish they had gotten the outfit even messier.

I like the clothed/forced scenarios, so that part was fine, but the actress's level was a bit lacking... It wasn't just her looks; her acting was actually painful to watch.
