I wonder why they didn't go back to the first installment's direction? If they'd used the Edama version's direction for Kokoro's version, the same actor, Tabuchi-san, would have shined, and the similar vibes between Edama and Asano would have created something really special. The mother's backstory, the initial seduction involving a drink during lunch, and the seemingly kind stepfather all added to the drama and connected it to the scenes. Ultimately, the third installment was made with the same direction as the second, so it relies solely on Kokoro's charm, acting, and the eroticism. I doubt it'll break the 10,000 favorites mark. While the direction for the second and third installments was optimal, I can't deny that the first one was the best. I really wish I could have seen Kokoro's sexiness and mischievousness with the direction of the first installment.

*I fell in love with this series after watching the first one, Kodama-san, and have now watched three of them. I'll look at one more. It's great that each actress brings out their own strengths.
