I like the actress, but she just zones out after the beginning, so it's not very interesting. The setup of her being the wife of a yakuza member is barely used after the intro, and there aren't any lines to reflect that, so it feels like a wasted concept. I wish they'd kept the intensity up until at least the middle.
The dramatic parts, or the setting… I just couldn't get into it because it wasn't clear what state the actress was in. The male actor was mostly silent, and even when he did speak, the lines were boring. So even though the content was hard, it didn't feel like the actress was being properly tormented, and the pacing dragged on. The consistently dim lighting was a shame too.
