The current established premise is that the mother feels guilty about her daughter not wanting to have sex, so she sleeps with her daughter's husband, but that hasn't been established in this film yet. Because of that, the depiction of their relationship feels a bit frustrating. Higashi-san has a natural, amateur-mature-woman vibe, and her acting is decent.
