Of course, this is likely to commemorate her retirement, and that's probably why the legendary Kenzo Nagira, who had passed the directing duties to his juniors, returned to direct. Appearing twice in the series proves she remained a top actress for a long time, and I want to applaud her and wish her well on her retirement. The problem is Nagira's direction. I understand the low ratings in other reviews. The resistance in the first rape scene is way too weak, and she starts feeling it way too early. Even in the second scene (which you can't even call a rape scene anymore), she just takes it too easily when forced. The focus on 'progressing the plot' is distracting and kills the mood. On the other hand, the silhouette on the hospital curtain and Ginji's signature dirty undershirt... Nagira often insists on things viewers don't want. Since there's no realism in the resistance, that stubbornness is just annoying. Still, Jessica is great. If you look at the third scene, where she's fully corrupted, as pure adulterous sex, her fragile yet beautiful expression—filled with both sorrow and pleasure while looking at another man's member—is absolutely stunning. The slow-motion digest... what would usually be a 'Days of Humiliation' style performance is portrayed here as 'Days of Immoral Adultery.' And the final scene in front of her restrained husband: she resists at first, but can't suppress the pleasure of the affair and ends up conceiving right in front of him. After it's all over, her expression as she apologizes to her husband, knowing they can never go back to how they were, is filled with a calm, satisfied bliss.
