I really hope they re-watch the original and come back with a fresh 4K production that surpasses it.

It's a remake of the 'Under the Covers' series, but the style is completely different from the previous one, so even those who saw the original can enjoy it. This one follows the currently popular trend of the woman being the proactive one. Mana is the lead, and while she's not quite a nympho, she has that kind of vibe. The cast of actors has been refreshed with the likes of Hatanaka and Yoshino, and the situations are new as well. Also, the intimacy and the 'whispering under the covers' feel are just as good as the previous work. That's the objective review. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the nympho genre, so honestly, I prefer the previous one.
