START-303 - Haru Shibasaki's first fan appreciation event! Genuine fan audition. One person selected from 658 general entries... a dream overnight date.

It's a really interesting concept – how far they push the realism versus pure performance is up to the viewer. Because it's Haru, who's usually so natural, the mid-section took me by surprise, but honestly, I'm not sure who this benefits in the end... The scenes are consistently beautiful and enjoyable, but huge props to Kuroda for going full villain mode this time (apparently he's a sweetheart IRL)!

You get to see Haru-chan's natural, everyday side throughout the work. It feels like you're chatting with her at an event like a DVD signing. I'd recommend this to everyone, not just Haru Shibazaki fans. Definitely a keeper!

Watching her during the selection process, I got the feeling she'll continue as an AV actress while becoming a sort of 'playing manager' in the future. Honestly, she could even become a director or producer. Considering she started as a 'SOD female employee' and is clearly intelligent, I think she has the potential.

The beginning had potential, but the drag in the second half… Was this scripted? Or supposed to be 'real'? Either way, zero eroticism. I felt like I wasted a bunch of time watching a silly farce. What about the previous work? They didn't capitalize on the raw eroticism Shibasaki Haru showed in the love hotel date scene. Instead of this awkward 'real' stuff, they should have just gone all-out with a super-open, fan-service vibe. Total waste of time.

This was supposed to be about Haru choosing a guy in auditions and spending the night with him, but the crew got mischievous and ruined the vibe, so they ended up spending the night apart. It wasn't what the title promised, but the guy was a quiet, genuinely good person, so it was tense to watch. Glad it had a decent ending. It's not overly explicit, but a good work that depicts the emotional conflict between the two.
