This series used to feel a bit all over the place with the settings – suddenly being in bedrooms or warehouses didn't really sell the 'in transit' idea. But this one's a big improvement! The scenes with the seatbelt restraints and then moving things to the truck bed are fantastic. The office sex isn't *during* a delivery, but it does a great job of creating that 'at work' vibe. The handjobs in the driver's seat, the risk of getting caught… they really leaned into that and it pays off. I also appreciated how they used the karate character from Aozora Hikari and played with the erotic tension of her not resisting when she easily could. And the storyline of the wife getting fed up with her gambling, alcoholic husband and switching to Nakata, who's a dedicated provider, is solid. Honestly though, the 'sexless wife' trope is getting stale. In the director's other works, the desire for a child was a unique motivation for the wife to get taken by someone other than her husband, but the direction feels repetitive and lazy now. Lately, it's just a fleeting concept mentioned in passing during conversations with the husband, and the only concrete examples are still pressure from the in-laws. I was hoping for more relatable struggles, like seeing a family photo in a New Year's card from a friend or noticing her parents are starting to worry about her. Or maybe a hobby of secretly browsing baby clothes online that she doesn't even plan to buy. The lack of variety in emotional depth is a problem, and I figured it would eventually get old. It's also a shame that Nakata, who was initially set up as a family man who lost everything due to a mistake, just ends up being a horny dude. There was potential for a story about starting a new family, and I think adding a final scene like Aoba Haru often does – where the woman gets pregnant and the man has to confront his feelings – would have made a huge difference. So, it's definitely improved as a 'delivery' themed video, but it's lost its edge as a wife-being-taken story.
